FROM HOBBY TO
UNIVERSE.
A Passion Built from the Ground Up
Founded from a deep passion for giant robots, sci-fi worlds, and hands-on craftsmanship, LootBOX+ began as the personal creative vision of Norman Caguiat — a Filipino 3D artist and designer dedicated to bringing original mech concepts to life. What started in 2013 as a humble hobby of designing and printing custom robot parts slowly evolved into a growing creative brand recognized by hobbyists and collectors around the world.
Norman grew up surrounded by Japanese anime, giant robot toys, and the visual language of science fiction. That early exposure didn't just shape his aesthetic — it became the foundation of everything he would later build. The initial prints were rough, the tools were basic, and the learning curve was steep. But every failed prototype taught him something. Every iteration brought the vision closer to reality.
By the time the brand had a name, it already had a soul. LootBOX+ wasn't built on trend-chasing or imitation — it was built on obsession. The kind that keeps you up at 2AM refining a joint mechanism or re-rendering a surface texture just to get the weight of the machine right.
Built Through Experimentation
In the early days, the company was built through countless hours of experimentation in 3D modeling, resin printing, prototyping, and hand-assembled detailing. Inspired by Japanese mecha culture, model kits, comics, and cinematic sci-fi storytelling, Norman pushed beyond simple fan creations and began developing highly detailed original designs that carried their own identity and universe.
Every model went through multiple rounds of design, slicing, printing, sanding, and refinement before it was ever considered finished. The process was never just about output — it was about mastery. Norman treated each piece like a miniature engineering project: proportions had to feel mechanical yet alive, surface details had to reward close inspection, and every joint had to suggest movement even when the model was standing still.
This obsession with craft is what separated LootBOX+ from the noise. Collectors didn't just receive files — they received the result of hundreds of hours of deliberate, disciplined creative work.
A Global Community Took Notice
Over time, LootBOX+ gained attention through social media, collectible platforms, and the growing 3D printing scene. The brand became known for its large-scale Titan models, weapon packs, mechanical accessories, and custom sci-fi creations that appealed to builders, painters, and collectors alike.
Through platforms like Patreon and Cults3D, the community grew organically — people sharing their builds, tagging their paint jobs, and requesting designs that pushed the limits of what desktop 3D printing could produce. What started as a one-man upload became a conversation between a creator and thousands of fans worldwide.
The international reach was never the goal — it was the result of consistent quality and genuine connection. Collectors from the Philippines, the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia became part of something bigger than a model kit. They became part of the LootBOX+ universe.
Independent. Always.
Despite its growth, LootBOX+ has remained rooted in the same independent spirit it started with — one creator building ambitious ideas from the ground up. No corporate backing. No outsourced design team. Just a single workshop, a relentless creative vision, and the discipline to see every project through.
That independence is a choice, not a limitation. It means every design decision is intentional. Every release is something Norman believes in. There's no committee approval, no compromise for mass appeal — just the work, done right, on its own terms. That authenticity is something collectors feel the moment they open a file or hold a finished print in their hands.
LootBOX+ continues to stand for creativity, innovation, and passion-driven craftsmanship — proving that a small workshop with a big imagination can create designs that resonate with fans across the world.
More Than Models
Today, LootBOX+ represents more than just 3D printed models. It is a creative universe — shaped by over a decade of dedication, storytelling, and the enduring fascination with giant machines, futuristic worlds, and collectible art. The brand spans original mech designs, the TITANS series, the HighFrame animated universe, and a growing library of STL files downloaded by fans on every continent.
New projects are always in development. The roadmap includes expanded model series, deeper narrative content through the HighFrame lore, and continued collaboration with the collector community that made all of this possible. The ambition hasn't shrunk — if anything, it's grown with every milestone.
LootBOX+ is still one person. One workshop. One very big imagination. And it's just getting started.
IN HIS OWN WORDS.
